About Us
HUCG is an entirely student-run non-profit organization. Our leadership comes from a variety of academic backgrounds, ranging from STEM to the humanities. The executive team can be broken down into the consulting side, which oversees casework and interactions with clients, and the operations side, which handles day-to-day logistics for membership activities. The members of the Fall 2024 Board are listed below.

Xander Zurovec
Director
Xander is from San Antonio, Texas, and studies Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. As a part of HCCG, Xander has worked within financial services, food products, and retail industries across various cases related to digital transformations, global retail roll-out strategies, and product assessments. In addition to HCCG, Xander served in Harvard’s student government as the inaugural Chief Financial Officer while also serving on the Health Policy Team for the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. For Summer 2024, Xander is working at Mastercard as an Associate Consultant Intern. Outside of Harvard, you can find Xander hiking, hanging out with friends, and listening to “classical bangers” on Spotify.
Unnati Gupta
Vice Director of Consulting
Unnati is originally from Philadelphia and currently pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Statistics at Harvard University. Since joining HCCG she has primarily focused on cases in the retail and financial industries, and has loved all the work she has done! Outside of HCCG, she is a Team Lead in the Harvard IOP Policy Program, editor for the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review, and research assistant at the Access to Justice Lab. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cities, painting, and discovering good books.
Sasha Agarwal
Vice Director of Operations
Sasha is from Kolkata, India and is double majoring in Economics and Computational Biostatistics. With HCCG, Sasha's casework has covered everything from strategies to boost vaccine coverage rates to modeling cost-savings on insurance plans. She has also served on the Diversity Advisory Council for two semesters. Outside HCCG, Sasha is a Portfolio Manager on a student-run L/S equities fund and an Analyst with Global Platinum Securities, leads investment education for Smart Woman Securities, teaches statistics and dabbles in Model UN. She will be working in investment banking in New York City this summer. In her free time, she enjoys food tours, hiking, traveling and listening to R&B.
Sarah Moreno
Associate Director of Engagement
Sarah is from Toronto, Canada and has been pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Social Studies at Harvard. During her time in HCCG, Sarah’s casework has focused on everything from growth strategy to developing market entry strategies to consumer segmentation. Outside of HCCG, Sarah conducts independent research with the Harvard Business School, is the treasurer of the Signet, Harvard’s oldest arts and letters society, and is involved with the Harvard Ballet Company. Sarah has held internship positions in Private Equity and the Startup Space. In her free time, Sarah loves trying new foods, listening to music, and going on hikes.
Cindy Zhu
Associate Director of Engagement
Originally from the Bay Area, California, Cindy studies Computer Science and Economics at Harvard. At HCCG, she has worked on cases ranging from cost-impact mapping for a Fortune 500 financial insurance company, product development for a multinational technology company's data analytics tool, and long-term programmatic strategy for a Fortune 500 media company. Outside of HCCG, Cindy is on the Tech Board of the Harvard Advocate and the Executive Board of the Harvard-Radcliffe Chinese Students Association.
Ethan Fang
Associate Director of Engagement
Originally from Houston, Texas, Ethan is a senior in Dunster House double majoring in Economics and Government. Since joining HCCG, Ethan’s casework has covered everything from streamlining payment services, to global sustainability practices, to product development. Outside of HCCG, Ethan has held several roles working in finance, startup, and non-profit industries. He also serves as Publications Director for the Harvard Public Opinion Project, a national polling organization, and conducts Domestic AI research with Schmidt Futures. In his free time, he loves skiing, cooking, and traveling.
Said El Kadi
Associate Director of Engagement
Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Said is a junior in Winthrop House studying mathematics and statistics. Since joining HCCG, Said has worked for a leading North American athletic apparel company, a multinational professional services network, and most recently a French luxury fashion house. Said is involved with academic research at the Harvard Business School, is part of the Harvard Architecture Undergraduate Society (HAUS), and sits on the Finance Committee of CISV International. Said spent his past summer working at LVMH at the Tiffany & Co. Corporate Headquarters in New York City, interning for the Retail Performance & Strategy Team.
Nick Harpe
Associate Director of Engagement
Nick is a Junior studying History and Psychology at Harvard. He is a proud member of Pforzheimer House and loves long walks to the Quad. During his time at HCCG, he has worked with a diverse array of clients from multinational corporations to global non-profits, and consumer product startups. His experiences range from streamlining and optimizing talent acquisition and recruitment for a Fortune 500 retailer to creating evaluation frameworks for global NGO coalitions, and developing business strategies from market entry to key consumer demographic engagement strategies. In his free time he enjoys hiking, the outdoors, and watching soccer with friends.
Katie Lu
Associate Director of Engagement
Katie is originally from Philadelphia, PA and is concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Government at Harvard University. During her time in HCCG, she has consulted for a global technology conglomerate on a market entry case, a Fortune 500 media entertainment company on Gen Z marketing, and an international nonprofit in implementing sustainability missions. Outside of HCCG, Katie co-leads the Global Macro team at Black Diamond Capital Investors, a student-run investment fund. This year, she is working in private equity at Audax Group, leading strategic initiatives for a consumer retail portfolio company. Next summer, she will be interning at KKR. In her free time, Katie loves trying new coffeeshops and writing screenplays and poetry.
Kat Ravichandran
Associate Director of Technical Initiatives
Kat is from Charlottesville, Virginia and joint concentrating in Computer Science and Philosophy, with a secondary in Economics. During her time in HCCG, Kat’s casework has focused on everything from consumer segmentation in the NBA to procurement optimization with a Fortune 500 hotel chain to AI integration within global entertainment. Kat also serves on the board of the Harvard Sports Analysis Collective, is co-founder of the Harvard Crimson Cellos, and writes for the Crimson. In her free time, she enjoys representing Lowell House in Intramurals, befriending animals in nature, and traveling.
Kaleena Roeva
Associate Director of Case Development
Originally from the D.C area, Kaleena is pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Government. During her time in HCCG, Kaleena’s work has focused on market landscaping, growth strategy, and talent acquisition across a broad variety of industries from finance to hospitality. Outside of HCCG, Kaleena serves as the Secretary General for Harvard Model United Nations Dubai, works on the Board of Directors of the International Relations Council, and was formerly a Head Delegate for Harvard’s competitive Model United Nations team. This summer, Kaleena is working at Mastercard in Arlington, Virginia in the Advisors Client Services division to leverage data-driven solutions for client decisions and deliver on client projects across various industries. In her free time, you can find Kaleena learning new languages, traveling, or exploring new coffee shops in Boston!
Marina Sanchez
Associate Director of Finance and Administration
Originally from Miami, Florida, Marina lives in Currier House and is majoring in Computer Science with a minor Economics. Her past engagements in Harvard College Consulting Group has centered around exploring the viability and market fit of a proposed platform aggregator model, conducting a risk landscape analysis, analyzing survey data, conducting expert interviews, and estimating long term business risk profiles. She has served as AD of Finance and Administration, AD of Case Development, and AD of External Initiatives. Outside of the organization, she is course assistant in Multivariable Calculus, President of the Cuban American Undergraduate Student Association, and an active scholar and mentor in the Hispanic Scholarship Fund community. This summer she will be working at Microsoft as a Product Management Intern. In her past summers she has worked as a Product Management and Technology at PriceWaterhouse Coopers in NYC and a technology consultant intern at The Hackett Group. In her free time, Marina enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and traveling!
Ashley Redhead
Associate Director of External Initiatives
Ashley is from Washington D.C. and is pursuing a concentration in Electrical Engineering and a citation in Mandarin at Harvard. During his time in HCCG, Ashley’s casework has focused on everything from market entry to growth strategy to consumer segmentation. Outside of HCCG, Ashley is conducting research on Generative Computer Architecture Design frameworks. This past summer, Ashley worked as an engineer at Northrop Grumman and plans to pursue a career in consulting. In his free time, he loves playing volleyball (he is a member of Harvard Men’s Club Volleyball) and debating music tastes.
Khalil Ben-Gacem
Associate Director of Member Affairs
Khalil is from London, UK and is pursuing a major in Applied Math to Economics. During his time in HCCG, Khalil has covered financial services, payments, and airlines through casework in product design, consumer sentiment analysis, and cost modelling. Outside of HCCG, Khalil has worked across private equity and investment banking, and is a course assistant for Vector Calculus and Linear Algebra. On a sunny day, Khalil can be found running, fencing, or playing music. He will be working in investment banking in New York City this summer.
