About Us
HUCG is an entirely student-run non-profit organization. Our leadership comes from a variety of academic backgrounds, ranging from STEM to the humanities. The executive team can be broken down into the consulting side, which oversees casework and interactions with clients, and the operations side, which handles day-to-day logistics for membership activities. The members of the Fall 2026 Board are listed below.
EXEC
Noreen Mohamed
Director
Noreen is from Raleigh, NC and is double concentrating in Economics and Government with a secondary in Computer Science. During her time at HCCG, Noreen has worked on projects focused on marketing strategy, product development, and customer acquisition. Outside of the organization, Noreen has taken on various roles, ranging from business analyst work to digital marketing strategy both in and beyond Cambridge. She is also part of Harvard’s Intercollegiate Model United Nations team and serves as the Vice President of Harvard Model United Nations Dubai 2027 as well as the Director of Administration of Harvard National Model United Nations 2027. In her free time, she loves baking, exploring new cities with friends, and spending time by the Charles River.
Lia Namazi
Vice Director of Consulting
Lia is originally from Iran and lives in Toronto, Canada, and is pursuing a concentration in Economics and Statistics with a citation in French. In her time at HCCG, Lia has designed a youth data and retention strategy for a global nonprofit and evaluated growth and investment strategies across real estate, biotech, and campus technology. Outside of HCCG, Lia is the president of the Women in Law Association, involved in Smart Women Securities, and a course assistant in the statistics department. She previously worked at Capital One as a Strategy Analyst, where she leveraged data analysis and modeling to inform product, pricing, and credit risk strategies, supporting customer-focused innovation. In her free time, Lia enjoys reading, especially French and Russian literature, and practicing photography.
Max Huang
Vice Director of Operations
Max is from Wellesley, Massachusetts and is concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics with a secondary in Government. Within HCCG, Max has taken on remodeling the outreach program of a top-five business school, orchestrating the launch of a luxury fragrance brand’s store rollout, and producing a market research roadmap for private equity investment in the utility transmission space. Outside of HCCG, he is involved in managing the Harvard Financial Analysts Club’s equities fund, serving as an Economics teaching assistant, and competing as a club cross-country athlete. Max has conducted research and written MBA cases at Harvard Business School and spent this past summer working in private equity. In his free time, you can find him making music, writing, running, or cheering on the Celtics.
Cameron Hong
Associate Director of Engagement
Cameron is from Los Angeles, CA and is concentrating in Social Studies and Economics. During her time at HCCG, Cameron has worked on projects ranging from long-term strategy for a Global Fortune 500 technology company to school climate and social inclusion policy for a global nonprofit. Outside of HCCG, Cameron is an ethics fellow with the Edmond & Lily Safra Center. She has assisted research at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Center for International Development. Cameron is also a member of WorldMUN and the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum Committee. In her free time, she enjoys playing New York Times games, and trying new restaurants.
Jialin Chen
Associate Director of Engagement
Jialin is from Boston, Massachusetts, and is contracting in Government, Psychology, and Education. Within HCCG, Jialin has spent his time in engagements with global non-profits, early stage startups, and Fortune 50 tech firms across various functional areas, with a focus on market entry & expansion, as well as strategic transformation & growth. Outside HCCG, he is involved in building global educational conferences in China, managing finances for the nation’s oldest collegiate choir, and building a startup within the disability and complex care space. Jialin has interned at a Big 4 consulting firm and China’s top universities. In his free time, you can find him reading ancient Chinese poetry, singing or writing.
Joe O'Grady
Associate Director of Engagement
Joe is from Dublin, Ireland, and is pursuing a concentration in Applied Mathematics and Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. During his time at HCCG, he has worked on projects focused on building a fund structure framework for a real estate private equity firm, producing a market research roadmap for private equity investment in the utilities landscape, and designing a growth and expansion strategy for a non-profit healthcare initiative. Outside of HCCG, Joe has taken on roles at other Harvard organizations and has also gained industry experience interning at a wealth management firm and a hedge fund. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and tennis.
Nathan Chen
Associate Director of Engagement
Nathan is from Germantown, Maryland and is pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Government. During his time at HCCG, Nathan has designed an implementation roadmap for a global entertainment studio to optimize theatrical conversion, advised a leading airline on improving operations, and created a network business solution for a national nonprofit. Outside of HCCG, Nathan directs one of Boston’s only free afterschool programs, serving low-income families in the Chinatown neighborhood. He is also a teaching assistant in the Harvard Economics Department, staffs Harvard Model Congress conferences around the world, and serves as Treasurer of Harvard’s Hong Kong Student Association. During his free time, you can find Nathan traveling to new places, re-watching Marvel movies, and baking cheesecake.
Samantha Wu
Associate Director of Engagement
Samantha Wu is a junior in Winthrop House concentrating in Applied Math & Economics track with a secondary in History of Art and Architecture. At HCCG, Sam has specialized in whitepapers and expert interview primary methodologies, redesigning the volunteer recruitment process for a national health nonprofit and crafting cross-border market entry strategies for an international payments provider. Outside of HCCG, Samantha is involved in data-driven journalism, leading the Harvard Open Data Project and writing for The Harvard Crimson. Samantha also serves on the board of the Small Claims Advisory Service and researches the spread and influence of economic ideas in the economics department. When she’s not in the HCCG office, you can find her exploring museums, playing percussion, or traveling.
Sophie Chen
Associate Director of Engagement
Sophie Chen is from Shreveport, LA, and lives in Mather House. She is double concentrating in Computer Science and Neuroscience, with a secondary in Economics. In her time at HCCG, Sophie has developed AI integration strategies for a F500 technology company and built a prototype exposure model to identify procurement vulnerabilities for a global biopharmaceutical client. Outside of HCCG, Sophie is involved in 2048 Ventures, WiCS, and startups@harvard. This summer, Sophie interned at Google as a software engineer. In her freetime, she enjoys running along the Charles, exploring Boston, and hanging out with friends.
Nicky Liu
Associate Director of Technical Initiatives
Nicky is from Durham, NC, and is concentrating in Biomedical Engineering with a secondary in Economics. During her time in HCCG, Nicky has modeled supplier governance frameworks for a leading pharmaceutical client, assessed pricing architectures of CAD software, and mapped hobby expansion within tabletop gaming. Outside of HCCG, she is involved as an analyst on the Harvard Financial Analysts Club's investment fund and a member of Asian American Dance Troupe. Nicky has conducted research with Duke's Nanophotonics Group and will be interning in private credit this summer. In her free time, Nicky enjoys costuming as a polar bear for Pfoho intramurals and frolicking on Newbury St.
Angelina Xu
Associate Director of Case Development
Angelina is from Maryland and is pursuing a concentration in Applied Math in Economics with a secondary in History. Within HCCG, Angelina's casework has encompassed cross-border remittance payments, vacation customer expansion, and go-to-market engineering strategies. Outside of HCCG, Angelina serves on the Executive Board of Harvard Model Congress Asia and the Institute of Politics, while also leading a economic development research project. Angelina conducted economics research at Harvard Business School last summer, in addition to interning at an community justice law center. In her free time, Angelina loves rating films, photography, and thrifting!
Tony Tao-Guerrero
Associate Director of Member Affairs
Tony Tao-Guerrero is from New York, New York, and is concentrating in Applied Mathematics with a secondary in Astrophysics. Through his consulting and project work, Tony has explored cases across the entertainment, space, and ocean conservation industries, including developing data analysis models for space-related datasets and conducting consumer insight research for entertainment franchise projects. On campus, he is involved with club tennis, STAHR, and is a course assistant in the math department. Outside of academics and extracurriculars, you can usually find Tony at Salokini eating Dubai chocolate frozen yogurt or trying to run it off.
Caroline Bae
Associate Director of Finance and Administration
Caroline Bae is from Chestnut Hill, MA, and is pursuing a concentration in Neuroscience, with a secondary in Economics and a citation in Spanish. In her time at HCCG, Caroline has designed an operational implementation roadmap for a leading U.S. airline, analyzed cloud learning offerings, and investigated targeted entry points for a global financial institution. Outside of HCCG, Caroline researches the intersection of behavioral finance, global health, and technology and engages in statistical AI exploration through the Machine Intelligence Community. In her free time, she enjoys open-water swimming, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Reyn Bungabong
Associate Director of External Initiatives
Reyn is from Manila, Philippines, and is concentrating in Economics and Government. During her time at HCCG, Reyn has worked on projects across payments, life sciences, nonprofit strategy, and digital media, with work spanning market research, growth strategy, and consumer insights. Outside of HCCG, she has also worked in the nonprofit and venture capital space, with a strong interest in the intersection of entrepreneurship and social impact. On campus, Reyn is involved with the Harvard Philippine Forum and enjoys building community among international and Filipino students at Harvard. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring the city with friends, but equally loves staying in and has recently picked up cooking.
