About Us
HUCG is an entirely student-run non-profit organization. Our leadership comes from a variety of academic backgrounds, ranging from STEM to the humanities. The executive team can be broken down into the consulting side, which oversees casework and interactions with clients, and the operations side, which handles day-to-day logistics for membership activities. The members of the Spring 2026 Board are listed below.

Avani Rai
Director
Avani is a junior from Normal, IL living in Lowell House. She is double majoring in Statistics and Economics, with a secondary in Government. In HCCG, Avani's casework has covered everything from the developing the strategic integration of cloud learning platforms to piloting AI offerings for international news publications. Outside HCCG, Avani is a Senior Reporter covering University Finances and Central Administration for The Harvard Crimson, a co-chair of Lowell's House Committee, and researcher at Harvard Law School. She just completed a summer at McKinsey as a Business Analyst and, in her free time, she enjoys hosting Harvard Athletics' football and basketball games.
Noreen Mohamed
Vice Director of Consulting
Noreen is from Raleigh, NC and is concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. During her time at HCCG, Noreen has worked on projects focused on marketing strategy, product development, and consumer acquisition. Outside of HCCG, Noreen has taken on various roles ranging from business analyst work to digital marketing strategy both in and beyond Boston. She is also part of Harvard’s Intercollegiate Model United Nations team and serves as the Director of Finance for the Harvard National Model United Nations conference hosted annually in February. In her free time, she loves baking, exploring new cities with her friends, and spending time by the Charles River.
Janet Ye
Vice Director of Operations
Janet is from Princeton, NJ and lives in Dunster House. She is double majoring in Economics and Psychology, with a secondary in Computer Science. In her time at HCCG, Janet has designed a strategic investment roadmap for both a financial LLM platform and a global ocean conservancy organization, developed a nonprofit risk assessment framework, and enhanced brand messaging for a major U.S. airline. Outside of HCCG, she is an Undergraduate Researcher for the Recovery Research Institute at MGH, as well as DJs for WHRB and volunteers at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. In her free time, you can find Janet reading, picnicing by the river, or spending too much money on concerts and festivals.
Angelina Xu
Associate Director of Engagement
Angelina is from Maryland and is pursuing a concentration in Applied Math in Economics with a secondary in History. Within HCCG, Angelina's casework has encompassed cross-border remittance payments, vacation customer expansion, and go-to-market engineering strategies. Outside of HCCG, Angelina serves on the Executive Board of Harvard Model Congress Asia and the Institute of Politics, while also leading a economic development research project. Angelina conducted economics research at Harvard Business School last summer, in addition to interning at an community justice law center. In her free time, Angelina loves rating films, photography, and thrifting!
Caroline Bae
Associate Director of Engagement
Caroline Bae is from Chestnut Hill, MA, and is pursuing a concentration in Neuroscience, with a secondary in Economics and a citation in Spanish. In her time at HCCG, Caroline has designed an operational implementation roadmap for a leading U.S. airline, analyzed cloud learning offerings, and investigated targeted entry points for a global financial institution. Outside of HCCG, Caroline researches the intersection of behavioral finance, global health, and technology and engages in statistical AI exploration through the Machine Intelligence Community. In her free time, she enjoys open-water swimming, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Eshaan Mani
Associate Director of Engagement
Eshaan is from Houston, Texas and lives in Currier House. He is concentrating in Government with a secondary in History. Within HCCG, Eshaan’s casework has spanned everything from deploying AI in global supply chains to assessing investments in data center construction to guiding international market expansion for a leading video game company. Outside of HCCG, he serves as a Senior Staff Writer at the Harvard Technology Review and Political Review and Director of External Media for the India Conference at Harvard. He also provides advisory support on electric grid resilience regulation to public and private sector entities, such as AiDASH and the Massachusetts government. In his free time, you can find Eshaan traveling, compiling Bollywood playlists, or exploring the newest restaurants around Boston.
Lia Namazi
Associate Director of Engagement
Lia is originally from Iran and lives in Toronto, Canada, and is pursuing a concentration in Economics and Statistics with a citation in French. In her time at HCCG, Lia has designed a youth data and retention strategy for a global nonprofit and evaluated growth and investment strategies across real estate, biotech, and campus technology. Outside of HCCG, Lia is the president of the Women in Law Association, a Peer Advising Fellow, and a course assistant in the statistics department. She previously worked with Harvard Business School’s Middle East and North Africa Research Center, supporting faculty research and case development through industry and market analysis. In her free time, Lia enjoys reading, especially French and Russian literature, and practicing photography.
Max Huang
Associate Director of Engagement
Max is from Wellesley, Massachusetts and is concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics with a secondary in Government. Within HCCG, Max has taken on remodeling the outreach program of a top-five business school, orchestrating the launch of a luxury fragrance brand’s store rollout, and producing a market research roadmap for private equity investment in the utility transmission space. Outside of HCCG, he is involved in managing the Harvard Financial Analysts Club’s equities fund, serving as a teaching assistant in the Economics department, and competing as a club cross-country athlete. Max has conducted research and authored MBA cases at Harvard Business School alongside interning at a private equity firm and hedge fund. In his free time, you can find him making music, writing, running, or cheering on the Celtics.
Yasmeen Galal
Associate Director of Engagement
Yasmeen is from Prospect, Connecticut and is concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. Within HCCG, Yasmeen contributed to developing a firm’s Artificial Intelligence strategy, designing a buy-and-build acquisition roadmap in the insurance sector, and leading market expansion strategy for a major lip care brand. Outside of HCCG, she is involved in the Harvard Computer Society as Director of Technology. She also serves as a Teaching Fellow in the Computer Science department and Chief of Staff for Harvard Model Congress Middle East. Over the summer, she completed internships in both private equity and software development. In her free time, Yasmeen loves traveling, playing tennis, and baking.
Sophie Chen
Associate Director of Technical Initiatives
Sophie Chen is from Shreveport, LA, and lives in Mather House. She is double concentrating in Computer Science and Neuroscience, with a secondary in Economics. In her time at HCCG, Sophie has developed AI integration strategies for a F500 technology company and built a prototype exposure model to identify procurement vulnerabilities for a global biopharmaceutical client. Outside of HCCG, Sophie is involved Harvard Innovation Labs and startups@harvard. Last summer, Sophie completed a software engineering internship at Amazon. In her freetime, she enjoys running along the Charles, exploring Boston, and hanging out with friends.
Michelle Hua
Associate Director of Case Development
Michelle is originally from Troy, Michigan and is currently double concentrating in Computer Science and Economics. During her time in HCCG, Michelle has consulted for a global technology conglomerate on market entry, consumer product startup on key demographic engagement strategies, and a Fortune 500 tech company on AI AdTech innovations. Outside of HCCG, Michelle is also involved in the Harvard Association for U.S.-China Relations and the Asian American Dance Troupe. This past summer, she worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. In her free time, Michelle likes to try new restaurants, get boba/matcha lattes, and hang out with friends!
Bannon Price
Associate Director of Member Affairs
Bannon Price is from Southwest Arkansas, and studying Economics and Social Studies at Harvard. His casework within HCCG has ranged from cost quantification models for innovative sustainability technologies, to revenue diversification strategies for public foundations. Outside of HCCG, Bannon is involved in Harvard Model Congress, serving on the Boston and Europe Conference Boards. He also is working on sustainability and carbon market research with the Harvard Economics Department. Bannon previously worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and will work in financial and national security policy next summer. In his free time, he enjoys running, exploring Boston, and traveling—especially to Ireland.
Carolyn Lau
Associate Director of Finance and Administration
Carolyn Lau is from Long Island, New York, and is pursuing a double major in Economics and Government at Harvard. As a part of HCCG, Carolyn has enjoyed working on cases in the financial services and technology industry, with scopes ranging from M&A to product development to pricing strategy. Outside of HCCG, Carolyn is the Chief Operating Officer for Smart Women Securities, Analyst for the Charles River Growth Fund, and Flautist for the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra. Last summer, Carolyn interned at Morgan Stanley's NY office in the Private Credit and Equity division and will be returning for the summer of 2026 in Investment Banking. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Boston, biking, and thrifting.
Ashley Liu
Associate Director of External Initiatives
Ashley Liu is from New York City and is studying Economics and Psychology at Harvard. In HCCG, Ashley serves as Associate Director of External Initiatives, where she leads new member recruitment, professional development, and diversity programming. She has also led a case team developing a Gen-Z engagement strategy for a Fortune 500 game developer using survey and focus group research. Professionally, Ashley has experience across corporate development, M&A, and strategy—most recently as a Corporate Development and Commercial Intern at Genius Sports, where she supported M&A and strategic investment evaluation. Next summer, Ashley will be joining PwC Strategy& as an incoming Private Equity Value Creation Consulting Intern. Outside of HCCG, Ashley is on the Executive Board of Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business as Career Development Committee Chair. In her free time, she enjoys film, exploring global cuisines, and finding new spots around Boston and Cambridge.
